Haunted Pub Crawl of Historic Annapolis
The pub tour operates weekends year 'round, and is reserved for Adults (21+) ONLY! Tours depart at 8:45 PM and last approximately 2 hours, and visit four of Annapolis' most haunted pubs.

What is a pub crawl?
The term "pub crawl" originated in England where, much like downtown Annapolis, small pubs and taverns are within walking distance of one another. Partygoers could go from one tavern to the next stopping for one drink at each establishment. You can imagine that by the end of the evening, some of the folks were "crawling" rather than walking! We offer pub crawls of both the haunted and non-haunted variety.
Sounds great, but what if I dont want to "crawl"?
Rest assured, neither crawling nor drinking is required on this tour. Our goal is to provide you with a different evening of entertainment, which may include the liquid spirits of this world and/or of the ephemeral spirits of the next world!
Well, ok, but what if I DO want to crawl? Does my $20 ticket include drinks?
Um, sorry, but, no! Your $20 ticket reserves your spot on the tour, lets you hear all our great ghost stories, and provides you with a cool glow-in-the-dark bracelet to impress all your friends, and identify you as a "crawler" for the duration of the evening. However, we do partner with some of the bars that we visit to provide you with drink specials, and signature drinks ranging from $3.00 - $4.50 at each establishment.
Is tipping acceptable or required?
That is totally at your discretion. Tipping is acceptable, but not required. We expect our guides to be highly professional, well-trained, and to entertain you regardless of potential gratuities. Many of our guests appreciate good service and choose to reward it, and the guides are always grateful. The same applies to the bartenders and servers at the bars we visit.
We have guests in town, and we want to do a Pub Crawl as a private tour, can we do that?
Absolutely! Private tours are available for groups of 15 or more. If you book your group tour more than one week in advance, you will also receive a discounted price of $18 per person. Private tours have a minimum fee of $200. We can schedule group tours any night of the week, and at any time. We want to do something that includes food can you help us?
On our regular, open registration, pub crawls, we do not provide food and are generally not at each bar long enough for you to order food. However, if you are booking for a private group, we can work with you and some of the bars that we visit to provide appetizers or other snacks at a location.
Which bars do we visit?
Our route varies with season, special events in Annapolis, bar availability and whim of our tour guides. We have visited Galway Bay (Formerly The Little Campus Inn), Harry Brownes, Sly Fox Pub at the Reynolds Tavern, King of France Tavern at the Maryland Inn, Rams Head Tavern, Middletons, and Phillips. We will go to three bars on each crawl, but specific route information is generally not available until the moment we depart.
Great, sounds like fun! But, how does it actually work?
At each bar you visit, your guide will give plenty of time for those who wish to purchase a soda or cocktail. Then, your guide will tell you the haunted stories of that location and of those nearby. You will stay in each bar approximately 20 minutes. The guide will provide you with a two-minute warning to finish your beverage, use the bathroom, etc. Then on to the next stop...
Still sounds like fun, but I don't want to be around a bunch of drunken "barely legals!" What ages come on your tour?
Good question - obviously to come on the tour, you must be over 21;
however, our groups are usually very mixed. We've hosted 21st birthday
parties as well as 50th birthday parties and older (We've even taken out the Red Hats...apparently tea isn't the only thing these ladies drink!). If you have a
large enough group, you can always book a private tour. In the past,
guests of all ages have mingled on the crawl and had a great time.
How long does the tour last?
The tours generally last between 2 and 2 1/2 hours depending upon the size of the group (As you can imagine, it takes a while to get 30 drinks!) However, if you have a curfew or if you turn into a pumpkin at midnight, please let the guide know and she will make sure to get you home in time!
Oh, I almost forgot, will I see a ghost on this tour?
A very good question! We cannot guarantee that you will see a ghost on the tour; however, we can tell you that people have seen "things" on the tour and have had experiences that they cannot quite explain. So, bring your camera, an open mind, and prepare to have fun! See you soon...
